Jessie J’s emotional video takes internet by storm

Pop star Jessie J has revealed she has undergone surgery as part of her breast cancer treatment.

Taking to Instagram, the 36-year-old singer posted a series of heartfelt photos and videos, sharing a raw and emotional update with fans and followers.

The post, including hospital bed selfies showing her post-operation, offers an unfiltered glimpse into the highs and lows of her journey.

One footage shows her singing softly to herself while waiting and later groggily waking up in recovery, telling Colman: “I was imagining Sky saying 'I love you mummy' and I was saying 'I love you, I love you back.’”

In a touching moment, her partner, Chanan Safir Colman, was seen kissing her forehead as she prepared to be wheeled into surgery.

Jessie also documented the more clinical aspects of her recovery, including a shot of her surgical drain, used to help manage fluid build-up after the procedure.

“Blood warning! This post is some of the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours,” she wrote. “I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through. Grateful to my doctor, surgeon, and all the nurses who cared for me – and all my family and friends who came to visit,” the post reads.

Now resting at home and awaiting her results, the singer added humour to her post, joking: “Chanan is in a nurse outfit. No no, he isn’t – but funny to imagine.”
