Plane crash survivor pens down note for bereaved families

PIA plane crash survivor Zafar Masud, Bank of Punjab President, offered condolence to heirs of plane crash victims.

In his letter written on Sunday, the BOP president said that he survived due to the prayers of his family, friends and colleagues. He said he sustained injuries and now his health condition was much improved.

Zafar Masud said: “God gives him second life and he wants to serve the country.” He also prayed for unfortunate passengers who perished in the plane crash.

“I am working with an organisation where everyone is very caring. I am proud on it. I will join my colleagues soon. We will work together for the progress of Bank of Punjab,” said Zafar Masud.

Bank of Punjab President Zafar Masud was also on board the unfortunate PIA flight from Lahore to Karachi that crashed just before landing after engine failure on Friday afternoon. Only two of 99 passengers survived the plane crash.
