The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday refrained the police and administration from harassing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The court also issued notices to chief commissioner, deputy commissioner and IG police of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

The case hearing has been adjourned until May 27.

Earlier, in the day, PTI central leader Fawad Chaudhry in a tweet claimed that 1,100 houses were raided last night in Punjab where police entered the houses without warrants and insulted women and children.

He claimed that people were tortured and over 400 workers were detained, including women.
