US dollar strikes back against Pakistani rupee
The greenback which ended Tuesday at Rs174.80 lost half a rupee in value and was trading at Rs174.30. A few hours later, the greenback roared back and gained 60 paisas in value against the Pakistani currency. Later, the US dollar closed its day trading at Rs175.04.
The dollar is on the receiving end ever since the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had announced the revival of fund facility programme for Pakistan.
