Convict sentenced to 11 years in prison

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has sentenced a convict to 11 years in prison in cases of attempted murder, firefight and possession of weapons.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the court also imposed a fine of Rs40,000 on Amjad Ali.

As per prosecutor Iqbal Mayo, the cases were registered against Amjad Ali in the same year.

Amjad Ali was arrested after he sustained injuries during a firefight with the lawmen.
