Federal Constitutional Court CJ approves appointment against 200 posts

The Federal Constitutional Court has issued a notification to fill more than 200 vacant posts across a wide range of staff positions, following approval from Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Mon onday.

According to the official notification, new positions have been sanctioned from Grade 2 to Grade 22, covering senior administrative roles, judicial support staff, clerical positions, and technical service categories.

The sanctioned roles include Registrar (22/SPPS-1), Secretary to Chief Justice, Additional Registrar, Deputy Registrar, court officers, judicial assistants, research officers, clerks, and support staff such as drivers, cooks, qasid, mali and sweepers.

The notification states that the appointments are being made under the amended rules linked to Article 208 of the Constitution, enabling recruitment of officers and staff for the Federal Constitutional Court under the same terms applied to the Supreme Court.

The expenditure for these appointments will be managed from within the allocated budget for the financial year 2025–26.
