Pakistan takes 2.73 billion foreign loan in three months

The federal government has taken $2.73 billion foreign loan in three months.
According to the Economic Affairs Division, the federal government had taken $2.18 billion loan during the same period last year. The Economic Affairs Division says the federal government took a loan of $1.26 billion loan for budget support from July to September. The government obtained a loan of $149 million to pay the amount of Sukuk bonds. Also, the government obtained $317 million for development projects. The government also obtained $1 billion safe deposit loan in three months. From July to September, Pakistan got $637 million loan from the ADB, says the Economic Affairs Division. Moreover, the government obtained a loan of $592 million from the World Bank.
