Eight RAPE cases REGISTERED in 24 hours

The Lahore police reported eight rape cases in 24 hours, 24NewsHD TV channel reports.

According to police, predators preyed on three girls and five women in the Punjab capital. 

The Defence A Area police booked four persons on charges of gang rape of an 11-year-old girl.

Dawood, Pervez, Murad and Atif are identified as accused.

The Gujarpura police registered a case against a suspected predator, identified as Tauqeer.

In Manawan, a 12-year-old girl was targeted and in Defence, two persons raped a woman working at a property dealer’s office while a man was accused of raping her ex-wife in Raiwind.

Two persons gang-raped a tenant and filmed the crime in Hanjarwal police limits and another woman was raped in Shahdara Town at home.

Four people working for a cable network were booked for harassing a woman in Shalimar. In the Factory area, a sex predator targeted a woman.

Cases of violence and harassment were also reported in Green Town, Sherakot, Liaquatabad, Gulberg, and Shahdara.

Police say the investigation is on.
