Police arrest man who raped girl in Pattoki within hours

Police in Pattoki have succeeded in arresting the alleged rapist of a young girl within hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Police said that Aqeel had raped Asima Bibi, daughter of Muhammad Rafiq, a resident of Chak 69.

However, the police have arrested the man, registered an FIR against him and launched an investigation into the incident.

Assailants kill minor, kidnap his sister in Narowal

Some persons, infuriated over the rejection of a marriage proposal, shot dead a three-year-old boy named Shamma before kidnapping his 15-year-old sister Sania in Green City area of Narowal.  

The girl’s mother Guddi was also wounded in the incident and was rushed to hospital.    

Police said they had registered an FIR against 11 persons, including one woman, on the complaint of the girl’s father and were conducting raids for their arrest.
