Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for allowing fans to watch the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final match at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a post uploaded on X platform on Saturday, Mohsin Naqvi said he had requested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to allow spectators to enjoy the PSL final.
While the PM had been mindful of the ongoing austerity measures aimed at reducing fuel consumption, he approved fan attendance for the final following a request from the franchise owners.
The final of the HBL PSL 11 between the winners of the Qualifier and Eliminator 2 will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
Dear cricket fans, I requested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to allow spectators in the stadiums. While he was also inclined to permit fans, he emphasized that austerity measures are currently in place across Pakistan, with efforts underway to minimize fuel consumption.
