Islamabad lockdown relaxed on interior minister's orders
Authorities on Saturday reopened Islamabad for all types of traffic on Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi's orders, the district administration announced.
According to officials, all forms of public and goods transport have now been allowed to enter the federal capital, restoring normal movement across the city after earlier restrictions.
The administration stated that bus stands across Islamabad have been reopened to facilitate commuters. However, the Faizabad Bus Terminal will remain closed until further notice.
Authorities did not specify a timeline for reopening the Faizabad terminal, but said the situation is being monitored and decisions will be made accordingly.
