Saudi Arabia Tuesday issued a corona vaccine SOPs-based travel advisory for Umrah pilgrims and guidelines to all airlines.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation declared the new advisory and made the official certificate of vaccination compulsory for pilgrims.
The authority said Umrah pilgrims should not be flown without a full dose of approved vaccine and the presence of an official certificate would also require full dosage confirmation of the vaccine.
As per the new advisory, the certificate must be based on the full dose of one of the vaccines approved for Saudi Arabia including AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.
The authority directed to the airlines that complete dosage certificate of vaccine must be submitted to relevant authorities at Saudi airports.
It is also mandatory to have a Corona Negative PCR test report 72 hours before the departure of the passenger, the Saudi authority said.
