A man killed his brother over a property dispute in Khatiala Varkan, an area of Muridke, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to police, the deceased, 50-year-old Farooq Ahmed, was tortured first and then killed by feeding him a poisonous substance.

The body of the deceased was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Mortuary for a post-mortem.

The police registered a case and started searching for the accused.
