Man throws acid on wife in Summundri

A woman’s face and hands were burnt after her husband threw acid at her at a housing colony in the limits of City Police Station in Summundri and fled away, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday. 

The woman was referred to the Civil Hospital, Faisalabad.

Police said that Khadim, the husband of the woman named Eisha, threw acid at her following an altercation.  

The Force said that the manhunt had been launched for the arrest of Khadim.

On August 3, two unidentified persons had thrown acid on a 17-year-old girl in Mouza Mehram Sial, a suburb of Jhang.
According to police sources, Bushra Fatima was sleeping at her home when the unknown accused threw acid on her face.
After the incident, the victim was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in critical condition.
Jhang DPO Bilal Iftikhar Kiani took notice of the incident and ordered immediate action to find the accused.
