It’s the height of injustice that a 22-year-old abductor of a nine-year-old girl contracted Nikah with his minor abductee by falsely showing her age in the marriage papers as 17 in Hafizabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Reportedly, Asim Ali, aged 22, abducted 9-year-old Ayesha Amin from the precincts of Vaneky Tarar police station in Dhariwal, Hafizabad on December 13.

According to the FIR registered with the Vaneky Tarar police station by Muhammad Amin, resident of Dhariwal, his 9-year-old daughter Ayesha who went to read Quran was abducted by Asim Ali and his accomplices while on her way back with the intention of raping her. They put her in a carry van and sped away.

The poor father could not get the FIR of his daughter’s abduction registered. But on the order of a court, police registered a case against the abductors on December 21. 

The parents of Ayesha alleged that the kidnappers after conniving with police, contracted Asim’s Nikah with their minor daughter after falsely showing her age as 17 in the Nikahnama.

They said that Ayesha was nine years old and her age could be verified from her Nadra birth record.

The poor parents appealed to the authorities to look into the matter and help them retrieve their daughter.
