A girl allegedly poisoned her father with the connivance of her paramour and mother in Alipur Kanju area of Kahror Pakka in District Lodhran on Tuesday.

Iqbal, nephew of 45-year-old Muhammad Iqbal, alleged that daughter of his uncle connived with her paramour and mother to kill him by serving him with poison (black stone). He claimed that autopsy is being delayed to hide the truth.

Wife of the deceased Iqbal, however, denied the allegations and said that her husband died of nature death. Post-mortem will bring to the fore the truth. Heirs of the deceased staged a protest against the Kahror Pakka THQ Hospital administration over delay in autopsy of the deceased. They claimed that despite buying all things requisite for autopsy, the hospital management has been delaying the post-mortem unduly.

They said that they would not tolerate delay.

Meanwhile, focal person of the THQ hospital confirmed that the hospital lacked the “wherewithal” required for post-mortem.

The police have also investigation into the allegations.
