A man gunned down his stepmother along with four minor siblings over a property dispute on Tuesday.

The police informed that the incident occurred in Arra Bodhara area of Dina, in Jhelum District over a property dispute.

The accused identified as Sadaqat shot dead his stepmother Farzana, two sisters - 12-year-old Sana; Shumaila, three-year-old Subhan and 11-year-old Ibrahim.

Father of the accused informed that his son had killed his wife and children for the property, adding that they had a quarrel over the issue two months ago and since then they were living with his in-laws.

On Tuesday, the accused killed them on the way from a local court.

The police have registered a case and shifted the dead bodies to hospital for medico-legal formalities.

TWO SIBLINGS FOUND KILLED

Meanwhile, two teenage siblings were shot dead by unidentified assailants near Kaller Kahar Lake in Chakwal district on Tuesday. According to police, the boy was a class-9th student while his sister was a graduate student at Commerce College. The unfortunate siblings would live in Mustafabad locality in the vicinity of Kallar Kahar Lake.

The police shifted the dead bodies to hospital for autopsy and further investigation into the incident.
