IHC grants bail to Ahsan Iqbal

The Islamabad High Court has granted bail to senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal in Narowal Sports City Complex project.
IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah rejecting NAB’s objections ruled on Tuesday that the Bureau cannot degrade citizens by unnecessarily arresting them. “The NAB can continue its investigation even without arresting the person,” he added.
The court said the passport of the PML-N leader will stay with the NAB officials.
Ahsan Iqbal has been asked to submit a security bond of Rs10 million.
