Journalist Mohsin Baig granted bail in unlicensed arms case

A court in Islamabad on Friday accepted the bail application of senior journalist Mohsin Baig in the case of possession of unlicensed arms in lieu of a surety bond of Rs30, 000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A case had been registered against the journalist at Margallah police station.
The law-enforcement agencies had taken Beg into custody following a raid on his home in Islamabad around 10 days ago on the complaint of Federal Minister Murad Saeed who had accused him of maligning him during a live TV show by giving the reference of a book authored by Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan.
