Lahore Qalanders skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi has renewed his resolve to defend the title in the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.

“The event is going wells,” he said while addressing a press conference. 

“We are strong in all fields and continue working hard as all the teams have world-class players.  Karachi Kings are a good team. They are a one-time champ and we can't take anyone lightly.” 

Shah said Babar Azam is an outstanding player. Tomorrow's match will be a big event.

Experts deem Lahore Qalandars as an extraordinary squad,  legend  Muhammad Yousuf said the Qalandars continue with their job of doing wonders.

Ex-pacer Muhammad Asif too praised them. A couple of days ago, Qalandars posted a towering 198 for six and then restricted Gladiatorsto 135 for eight, staging a strong comeback.

All the players performed matchlessly crushing the Gladiators, Yousaf said as former pacer Muhammad Asif stressed the batting of Qalandars too showed a class.
