Lahore-Sialkot Motorway temporarily closed

The Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M11) has been temporarily closed due to dense fog, officials from the Motorway Police Central Region confirmed.

Syed Imran Ahmed, spokesperson for the Central Region, said the closure aims to protect the lives of motorists. He warned that foggy conditions can be extremely hazardous for driving.

Motorway authorities have appealed to the public to avoid travelling during fog and to prioritize safety. Commuters are advised to travel during daylight hours, with the safest window being between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Motorway Police emphasized that motorists should exercise caution and plan trips carefully until visibility improves.
