Chief says NAB needs time to collect evidence in mega corruption cases

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Javed Iqbal has said the corruption watchdog has a solid evidence of money laundering by the big fish.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, the NAB chairman said that references have been filed in accountability courts against the big fish on the basis of evidence. He said that Father of the Nation Muhammad Ali Jinnah had declared corruption a curse.
Javed Iqbal said that NAB officers believe in a corruption-free Pakistan. He said the NAB would take the investigation into the sugar and wheat scandals to a logical end. He said that billions of rupees were laundered to different countries using the names and bank accounts of poor people. He said that fake accounts were created and used for money laundering. He said the NAB would need to time to collect evidence from abroad in mega corruption cases.
