Punjab police pay tribute to CM

The Punjab Police released a video to pay tribute to Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi for transforming the police force introducing reforms and welfare measures in a year, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.


The Punjab police heaped praise on the CM for the establishment of smart police stations. All the 737 police stations of the province have been transferred to the Special Initiative Protocol and 97 per cent of people expressed satisfaction with the Special Initiative Police Stations through feedback on the QR code system.


A total of 151 service centers, 36 Meesaq Centers and 39 Tahaffuz Marakaz were established across Punjab.


More than four million citizens have benefited from the e-license service, 130 new license centres have been set up and the rate of issuance of licensing surged significantly.


The scope of the Safe City project was extended to 21 cities, Elite Force Rules were amended after 26 years, allowance was increased, and all vehicles of the Dolphin and Police Response Unit were repaired.


The uplift of the Counter Terrorism Department was also oo part of the Punjab CM’s drive to bring in reforms. Special branch buildings, offices and mess were renovated while the more than 32, 000  police underwent the training and refresher courses.


Better representation of women in the police force, equal opportunities in field posting and section heads were appointed in different branches.


Under the CM Mohsin Naqvi, the Punjab police successfully conducted an anti-criminal op in the Kacha area and retrieved more than 65 thousand acres of state land.


All the offices of Punjab Police across the province were renovated. residential apartments and flats for police employees were completed.


The force also expressed gratitude to the chief minister for fixing the problems confronting the department.
