Info Minister urges KP Govt to focus on resolving public issues

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to focus on resolving public issues. Talking to the media in Kot Momin today, he said the people have grown weary of repeated calls for protests. He added that the politics of agitation cannot deliver any benefit to the public, as the people want basic facilities at their doorsteps.

The Minister emphasized that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government should establish forensic laboratories and initiate welfare-oriented development projects.

He said that decisions in the next elections will be based on public service rather than agitation and protest politics.

Referring to false propaganda regarding Tirah Valley, Attaullah Tarar said the government has taken serious notice of the matter. He clarified that the Relief, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Department of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated four billion rupees for those who intend to relocate voluntarily due to harsh weather conditions and other challenges.

The Minister said linking the evacuation process with the Pakistan Army is misleading.
