Pakistan’s exports reached to $32.10b in FY2024-25

Pakistan's exports for fiscal year 2024-25 have reached $32.10 billion, a 4.67 percent increase compared to the previous year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday. 

According to a report released by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the export volume of Pakistan recorded an increase of 4.47 percent and reached $32.10 billion from Rs30 billion during fiscal year 2024-25.

Pakistan’s service exports witnessed an increase by 8.58 percent and reached to $7.67 billion from $7 billion during fiscal year 2024-25.

TDAP report revealed that the USA, Britain, Afghanistan and Germany were major destinations for Pakistani exports.

Pakistan recorded 10 percent increase in exports on (YoY) basis which reached to $5.836 billion.

Pakistan registered 7 percent decline in export volume with China which was stood $2.375 million.

 Export volume with Afghanistan increased by 90 percent and reached to $14.2 million from $7.5 million.

TDAP report stated that Pakistan exported the majority of textile goods, which stood at $18.95 billion.

During fiscal year 2024-25 export volume of sugar registered an increase of 1799 percent to reach $40 million from $2 million.

Pakistan exported 7 percent more goods to European countries in fiscal year 2024-25 which reaching to $11.31 million.
