Sheikh Rashid’s coronavirus test comes out negative

The latest coronavirus test of Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has come as negative, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Sheikh Rashid first positive test was registered on June 8 after which he was admitted to Combined Military Hospital in Rawalpindi.
The Railways Minister has thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the whole nation for their prayers and well wishes.
A close relative of the minister said that Sheikh Rashid may be discharged from hospital soon.
After confirmation of his first coronavirus test, Sheikh Rashid had gone into self-isolation at home for two weeks as per the recommendations by doctors.
Sheikh Rashid was shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi as a precautionary measure a few days later on his doctor’s advice as he was feeling unwell.
Earlier, the Railways minister, in his message, said that his condition was stable and recovering. The minister also thanked the nation who prayed for his recovery.
He said Covid-19 tests of all the staffers of Lal Haveli, the political office of the AML president, and his family members were conducted and all of them tested negative.
