Hot weather in plains, cloudy in upper areas predicted

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while cloudy weather is expected in upper areas of the country including Azad Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
In Karachi, the weather will remain hot and dry, however, drizzle may occur in the city in the nighttime. Karachi weather office recorded 31 degrees Celsius temperature in the sprawling city of Karachi and mercury could go up to 36 degrees Celsius.
In Lahore, the weather situation is similar and in the early morning, the temperature was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius. Lahore weather office said that the maximum temperature could go upto40 degrees Celsius.
No rains are forecasted in the next 24 hours in the metropolis Lahore where 179 AQI (air quality index) was rerecorded in the index.
In Islamabad's capital territory, the weather will also remain hot and dry.
In the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, however, 01 mm of rain was recorded in Garhi Dupatta (Kashmir).
Friday’s highest maximum temperatures (°C): Dadu, Mohenjodaro 46, Jacobabad, Sibbi, Mithi, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Khairpur 45.
