Four die as speeding truck crushes family in Grujranwala
What began as an ordinary journey turned tragic near Jandiala Dhabanwala in Gujranwala on Wednesday, where a speeding truck struck a motorcycle, resulting in the death of four people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Rescue 1122 officials confirmed that the incident occurred when a high-speed truck crushed a motorcycle en route to Gujrat.
The motorcycle was carrying family members who had departed earlier in the day from Gujranwala.
The devastating crash claimed lives of the motorcyclist and three other pillion-riders, including women and children.
Another female pillion-rider sustained injuries.
The entire family had been travelling on a single motorbike at the time of the accident.
According to eyewitnesses, the truck driver fled the scene right after the accident, leaving the victims unattended until the rescue personnel arrived.
