Woman death in Pindi takes coronavirus toll to 8

The death toll from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan reached eight on Wednesday, as a woman died at a hospital in Rawalpindi.
According to 24NewsHD which quoted government officials, the victim was a resident of Sohawa and had recently returned from the United Kingdom. She was admitted at the MH Hospital after showing symptoms.
The official figures show that the number of coronavirus cases currently stands at 1,041. The pandemic is turning alarming with the reports of new cases as a result of community spread like that in the Manga area of Mardan.
