PIA pilot Sajjad Gul’s father rejects inquiry

Deceased PIA plane pilot Sajjad Gul’s father rejected the PIA probe into the plane crash in which 97 passengers perished in Karachi.
In a statement issued on Monday, the father of ill-fated plane pilot demanded an independent inquiry into the matter. He said that PIA officers should stop doing politics on this matter.

“We are in shock and some people are doing politics,” Sajjad Gul’s father said.
Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar assured pilot’s father of justice.
The federal government constituted a team to investigate the PIA plane crash in Karachi.

On last Friday, Captain Sajjad Gul along with other crew and 91 passengers flew PIA plane from Lahore to Karachi. Minutes before landing at Karachi airport, the captain first informed the air traffic control about developing some technical fault after which the plane vanished from the radar as the contact was lost and plane was crashed.
