IHC orders release of PTI’s Ejaz Chaudhry

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday declared the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Ejaz Chaudhry under 3MPO null and void and ordered his release, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

IHC judge Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the case.

Taimur Malik Advocate, counsel for the petitioner, appeared before the court.

It is to be noted here that several PTI leaders including Ejaz Chaudhry had been arrested under Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) after the violent protests of May 9.
