Arshad Nadeem named best Asian athlete

Olympic gold medalist and javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has been honored with the prestigious Best Asian Athlete award by the Asian Athletics Federation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

In a proud moment for Pakistan, the award was conferred during the federation’s recent official meeting held in South Korea.

The recognition marked a significant milestone in Arshad Nadeem’s athletic career.

 His remarkable achievements have not only brought pride to Pakistan but also placed him among the elite athletes of the continent.

The award ceremony was attended by prominent sports figures, including the Chairman of South Asian Athletics, Major General (r) Muhammad Akram Sahi.

Athletics Federation of Pakistan president Brig (r) Wajahat Hussain, along with secretary Col (r) Shahjahan and senior official Salman Iqbal Butt were present in the ceremony.

This honor adds to Arshad Nadeem’s growing list of accolades and sets a new benchmark for aspiring athletes across the country.
