India's hidden plot to undermine Pakistan’s economy exposed

A deliberate attempt by India to weaken Pakistan’s economy has been exposed, revealing a string of politically driven actions aimed at blocking international support for Islamabad, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

Political analysts assert that India’s campaign involves spreading false propaganda against Pakistan in global forums and lobbying to reinstate Pakistan on the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) grey list.

At the heart of the controversy lies India’s opposition to a $20 billion development project approved by the World Bank for Pakistan. 

The project, aimed at revitalising Pakistan’s infrastructure and social programs, faced resistance from India, which reportedly sought to derail its progress at the international level.

In addition, India is alleged to have raised objections to International Monetary Fund (IMF) assistance to Pakistan, further signaling its discomfort with Pakistan’s economic resurgence. 

According to diplomatic sources and political analysts, such moves indicate a calculated strategy by India to obstruct Pakistan’s development trajectory and isolate it economically.

Experts also criticised the FATF dossier submitted by India against Pakistan, describing it as baseless and politically motivated. 

“The dossier is filled with unverified allegations and is an extension of India's broader campaign to tarnish Pakistan’s global reputation,” said one political commentator.

India’s actions, observers argue, are not just about economic pressure but part of a larger plan to dominate regional politics.

“India wants to impose restrictions on Pakistan to ensure it remains economically fragile and diplomatically isolated,” one analyst added.

Furthermore, India has been accused of attempting to mislead the international community and damage Pakistan’s positive global image by orchestrating misinformation campaigns.

Political observers agree that India's aggressive posture stems from its desire to maintain regional hegemony and suppress Pakistan’s growing influence on global platforms.
