Former captain and coach of Pakistan national cricket team Misbahul Haq Thursday said that he will not apply for the coaching job if Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would post an advertisement for the job, reported 24NewsHD TV. 

Addressing a press conference on the occasion of Gymkhana Club’s annual match in Lahore, Misbah said it is a matter of happiness that Pakistan has showcased outstanding display as a team in the ICC World T20 Cup.

Misbah was satisfied with the team’s performance in the Test format of the game and said: “Hopefully Pakistan will put impressive performance against Bangladesh.”

Misbah said he was pleased to see the performances of Asif Ali, Iftikhar Ahmad and Khushdil Shah. 

Citing the success of Pakistan paceman Mohammad Abbas, the former coach said that Abbas is an excellent choice for seaming wickets.
