Pakistan and Afghanistan on Friday signed an agreement to establish medical colleges in the neighboring country to boost friendly relations.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Pakistan will establish medical colleges in Afghanistan to support the neighboring country in the medical education sector.
As per the agreement signed between both countries, these medical colleges are being built under Khyber Medical University located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province of Pakistan.
The channel report said that postgraduate training of Afghan doctors will also be done under this agreement as Pakistan is taking steps to make Afghanistan self-sufficient in the health sector.
It is worth mentioning here that India does not want to see the young generation of Afghanistan flourishing and an example of this is the suspension of scholarships for Afghan students in India.
