Metro Bus Service in Rawalpindi-Islamabad to be suspended on Saturday

The district administration of Islamabad has decided to suspend the Metro Bus Service (MBS) in Rawalpindi, Islamabad on Saturday in view of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) march.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the bus operation between Islamabad and Rawalpindi will remain suspended till ending of the PTI’s scheduled protest and rally at Sixth Road on Nov 26.
On the other hand, the district administration of Rawalpindi has also announced to close off the Faizabad Bus Adda (bus station) from Friday at 10 pm until the end of the PTI’s protest and the rally.
As per the report of the channel, the entry of public transport in Rawalpindi will also be closed in view of safety measures while the security checking of residential hotels and flats in Faizabad will be carried out.
The channel said that Murree Road towards Rawalpindi has been closed for traffic while traffic will be closed from IJP Road and 9th Avenue Junction towards Rawalpindi.
