Pakistan, Azerbaijan discuss investment prospects in key economic sectors

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Tuesday held high-level delegation talks with Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov to explore investment opportunities between the two countries, according to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the potential for Azerbaijani investment in Pakistan’s oil and gas industry, minerals and mining, livestock and meat processing, as well as the hospitality sector.

It was agreed that further avenues of cooperation would be explored in these areas to enhance bilateral economic engagement.

Andrabi added that senior officials from relevant ministries were also present during the talks, reflecting the seriousness and coordination behind the discussions.
