CTD officers kill two terrorists in Sukkur encounter

Two terrorists were killed in an operation carried out by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officers in Sukkur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The CTD team conducted a raid on Muzaffarabad Road after receiving information about the presence of terrorists. On seeing the CTD team, the terrorists opened fire on them. As a result of the exchange of firing, the two terrorists seriously injured and were arrested by the law-enforcers but later the two terrorists succumbed to their injuries.
The CTD officers also seized a large quantity of explosives from the hideout of the terrorists.
The terrorists were later identified as Mujeeb Ullah and Muhammad Anwar. It is believed that were linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban.
The CTD in-charge said they were involved in attacks on security forces and were experts on making suicide vests.
