Banned organisation's activists handed down 5-years rigorous jail terms, property confiscated in explosives recovery case
Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore handed down five years rigorous imprisonment to two activists of banned organization in explosives recovery case on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Javed delivered the verdict. The court ordered the seizure of the convicts' property by the government. The court sentenced the convicts Habibullah and Muhammad Jawad after they were found guilty.
CTD Lahore had submitted the challan of accused Habibullah and Muhammad Jawad. Explosive material was recovered from the possession of the accused.
CTD said the accused were member of a banned organization. The accused were involved in terrorist activities and CTD Lahore registered a case against the accused in 2024.
The accused were produced in court from jail for a verdict.
Prosecutor Mian Tufail produced the witnesses against the accused.
