Complaint filed in JCP against LHC judge Abhar Gul Khan

A complaint has been filed in Judicial Commission of Pakistan against Lahore High Court (LHC) Judge Abhar Gul Khan on the charges corruption and misuse of authority, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The complaint was filed by Advocate Azeem Daniyal who was a member of LHC Bar Association. Azeem Daniyal made allegations of bias, favoritism and violation of judicial etiquette against the judge. 

According to the complainant, the allegations against the judge are proven by official records, notifications and court orders and there is also evidence of mismanagement and institutional irregularities against the judge. 

Moreover, the complainant said that Justice Abhar Gul Khan had been former Registrar of LHC and made clear legal error that raised serious questions. According to Advocate Azeem, the unconstitutional decisions raise serious concerns about judge's competence.
