The family of senior PPP leader Syed Khursheed Shah will undergo coronavirus test after an employee of the family fell ill with the virus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Coronavirus was confirmed in the employee at Khursheed Shah's house in Sukkur. Upon detection of the coronavirus, the entire house was disinfected.

Moreover, the administration has decided to conduct corona test of all the members of the Khursheed Shah’s family.

The development came as Sindh registered 4,232 coronavirus cases as per the latest figures of the National Command and Control Centre.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan shot up to 12,723 with the addition of 783 cases in the last 24 hours while the death toll stands at 269.
