As many as 18 members of a family were rushed to a hospital as their condition deterioated after having a toxic dring on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV cahnnel.

The family members had a meal and then a dring when they suffered upset stomach in Basti Chhina of Tehsil Jampur of District Rajanpur.

According to one of the affected persons, they all had a drink after dinner after which their condition worsened.

The family members were shifted to the THQ hospital where they were treated well.

All the doctors and medical staff were present in the hospital emergency ward where they declared the condition of the 18 affected persons to be satisfactory after treatment.

The affected persons included 60-year-old Muhammad Afzal, 55-year-old Jameela, 27-year-old Zahid, 24-year-old Najma, 24-year-old Shahid, 24-year-old Umme Habiba, 22-year-old Saba Javed, 22-year-old Sarfaraz, 20-year-old Iqra, 14-year-old Saqlain, 10-year-old Nirma, 8-year-old Mah Parah, 7-year-old Samra, 6-year-old Ali Haider, 5-year-old Miss Parah, 5-year-old Adil, 3-year-old Hasan and 2-year-old Sehrish.
