After the mysterious death of a 10-year-old housemaid Zainab in the Millat Park area of Lahore, the police have arrested house owner Salman and registered a case against him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Friday.

The police took this action on the parents’ complaint after DIG Operation met with the victim's family and assured them that justice would be provided to them at all costs.

It is pertinent to mention that the deceased Zainab was brought to a local hospital on Thursday in critical condition after severe burn injuries but she could not survive.

The DIG Operation further said that police will take strict against the people and families involved in domestic violence.

Faisal Kamran further said police were interrogating the house owner and soon all facts will be brought to the public.
