SOS call from tourists stranded in northern areas

Hundreds of marooned tourists sent an SOS message on Tuesday as massive landslide after downpour disrupted communication.
The message said landslide after recent rains inflicted serious damage upon Chillas to Babusar Top road, leaving hundreds of tourists stranded.
They made an appeal for help as according to them no one from authorities bothered to respond to the disaster.
Northern areas attract tourists though it remains prone to rain ravage and landslide incidents.
A few days ago, flashfloods left hundreds of locals and tourists in the lurch.
Rainfall ruined the infrastructure and made people caught in the calamity.
Locals and the tourists have been making a litany of appeals for help to high-ups to launch rescue operation.
