Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif visited the residence of late City News Network Chairman Syed Afzal Naqvi and offered his condolence, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

He paid tribute to Syed Afzal Naqvi for feeling strong concerns for the poor and marginalised people. He prayed the Almighty may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family of the deceased.

Syed Afzal Naqvi breathed his last on Sunday. People from different walks of life have been expressing their condolences over the demise.  Those who had expressed sympathy with the bereaved family of the deceased include Governor Ch Sarwar, PTI leader Jahangir Tareen, Samina Khalid Gurki, Azizur Rehman Chann, Dr Khalid Ranjha, Khuram Dastagir, Akhtar Rasool, Sohail Zia Butt, Barrister Amir Hassan, Saiful Malook Khokhar, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Imran Nazir, Col (r) Mubashar, Ch Aslam Gill, Mian Amir of Dunya News Network, Hamid Mir, Ch Salik Hussain, and Shafay Hussain.
