Aleema Khan rejects by-election participation, terms it futile

PTI founder’s sister Aleema Khan stirred controversy during a media talk when she clashed with journalists, calling a question about by-elections “satanic”, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, speaking to reporters, Aleema said the PTI founder had already made it clear that participating in by-elections would bring no benefit. 

She argued that contesting such polls would amount to legitimising the disqualification of the PTI founder.

Aleema further clarified that she had no quarrel with Salman Akram Raja, saying that his decision to resign was entirely his own.
