FBISE announces Intermediate results

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad, Tuesday announced the results of the annual examinations for classes XI and XII, with a pass percentage of 62.40% recorded in Class XI and 83.19% in Class XII.

According to the official announcement, girls from Army Public School and College (APS&C) institutions dominated the top positions in the medical group. Alina Tahir of APS&C Pasban for Women, Rawalpindi Cantt, secured first position with 1,071 marks. She was followed by Warda Sarfaraz of Scholars Science College, Wah Cantt, who bagged second place with 1,070 marks. Third position was shared by Urwa Malik of APS&C Girls, Rawalpindi Cantt, and Manahil Murtaza of APS&C Gujranwala Cantt, both scoring 1,069 marks.

In the pre-engineering group, Muzammil Sajid of Scholars Science College, Wah Cantt, stood first with 1,063 marks. Muhammad Sami of CAPS College, Wah Cantt, secured second place with 1,059 marks, while third position went to Ayesha Naeem of APS Fort Road, Rawalpindi Cantt, with 1,054 marks.

The science general group was led by Ziam Rohab of APS Fort Road, Rawalpindi Cantt, who topped with 1,056 marks. Second and third positions were secured by Aisha Zaidi (1,055 marks) and Halima Zohaib (1,053 marks), both from Punjab College, H-11/4, Islamabad.

In the commerce group, Jannat Nazir from Punjab College, H-11/4, Islamabad, clinched first position with 1,025 marks. Shaiza Mahnoor secured second with 1,020 marks, while Zainab Waqar stood third with 1,013 marks.

Meanwhile, in the humanities group, Dina Khan from Pakistan International School, Saudi Arabia, secured first position with 986 marks. Second position was shared by Talha Shams of the Institute of Islamic Sciences, Islamabad, and Zoha, both scoring 981 marks, while Sidra from Pakistan International School, Taj, Saudi Arabia, bagged third position with 974 marks.
