Senate election: LHC to hear plea against Rana San's nomination paper

Lahore High Court has been moved against PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah's nomination papers for Senate by-electionson Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

An election tribunal comprising Justice Khalid Ishaq of the Lahore High Court will hear the appeal tomorrow. 

Advocate Muhammad Afaq contended in his appeal that Rana Sana submitted nomination papers for Senate by-election but he failed to provide relevant information in his papers. 

Moreover, the affidavit submitted by PML-N leader was illegal, claimed lawyer. He further added that the nomination form issued by the returning officer is unconstitutional and illegal. 

The advocate Afaq demanded of the court to declare Rana Sana's nomination papers null and void.
