Most-wanted terrorist killed in South Waziristan

Security forces in an operation in South Waziristan on Friday shot dead most wanted terrorist, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to reports, Nooristan, who was the mastermind of several terrorist attacks in Waziristan, was killed when security forces launched an operation on a tip-off.
According to the ISPR, the slain terrorist was not only an expert in making explosives but he also used to train others. “Nooristan was involved in the killings of 50 army personnel since 2007,” said the ISPR in its statement.
On Tuesday last, security forces had raided a militant hideout North Waziristan District, killing an insurgent allegedly involved in the killing of four women from a vocational school a day earlier.
The military identified the slain man as Hassan Khan, who also went by the name Sajna, and said he was a local commander of a splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban.
The North and South Waziristan districts served as the main base for local and foreign militants until the military secured the region in 2015.
