Schoolboy shot by police dies at hospital in Faisalabad

A ninth-grade student, who was shot by police at a picket considering him a ‘dacoit’, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday after spending eight days in a critical condition at Allied Hospital of Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The parents of the victim, Muhammad Ali Hamza, urged the authorities to provide them justice.

The police registered an FIR in which it was claimed that three bikers did not stop at the police picket on February 18 and also opened fire at the police. 

In the crossfire, Ali Hamza was seriously injured while another managed to run away from the scene.

However, injured Ali Hamza was rushed to Allied Hospital. The youth succumbed to his injuries after eight days.
